OnePlus 6 – The Inside Story – Next front-runner Flagship? — As many of you already know, OnePlus has a parent company called as BBK Electronics, which is a major Chinese manufacturer that also manufactures Oppo and Vivo smartphones. These phones are exclusive to China and India. Only one OnePlus has managed to make their presence globally. However, all these companies share similar design language. Chinese phone maker first launched its Android smartphone – the OnePlus One – in 2014. Since then, the company has come a long way making it a global leader and so far has seven handsets under its belt.
The company has racked up a loyal fan-base, largely because it sells smartphones with iPhone-rivaling specs at a significantly lower price. It is now confirmed about design shows a design strikingly similar to iPhone X in front and a back similar to Samsung Galaxy S9. The phone boasts bezel-less display along with the ‘notch’, which seems to hold a selfie camera sensor and an earpiece grill. The bezels are pretty narrower, similar to the iPhone X.However, the company will stick to its old design language, with the horizontally stacked dual-camera setup. Unlike the iPhone X ditching the fingerprint reader, this phone is shown sporting a fingerprint scanner at the back. This new development is alongside the OnePlus Bullets (V2) that were launched back in August 2016
As per a Bluetooth certification listing, the new OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones are based on Bluetooth v4.1 and include a Qualcomm chip. The prime use case of wireless earphones is certainly to give a wire-free music playback experience to users. However, companies including Apple and Google recently brought there in-house wireless earphones in the form of AirPods and Pixel Buds, respectively, to give users an advanced alternative to traditional wired headsets. Both companies specifically also preferred to ditch the 3.5 mm audio jack from their smartphone models. This again makes some sense for launching native wireless earphones. Though now it is confirmed that OnePlus 6 will have that 3.5mm audio jack. This could be launched along with the OnePlus 6, Pricing could be between ₹8,999-₹15,999. Further, company can name it as Wireless Bullet. The design is most probably going to be similar to the Apple AirPods as per the rumours.
