OnePlus 6 Silk White limited edition to go on sale June 5 for Rs 39,999

OnePlus 6 Silk White limited edition to go on sale June 5 for Rs 39,999

OnePlus is all set to launch its limited edition Silk White variant of its latest flagship, the OnePlus 6, on June 5 in the Indian market. The company had announced this variant along with the official launch of the other two color variants, the mirror black and the midnight black along with the limited, Marvel Avengers edition on May 21 in India. The device will go on sale on Amazon India, and OnePlus India website.

This version of the OnePlus 6 will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device features a metal unibody casing with glass back. It comes with a 6.28-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. OnePlus has added a dual rear camera setup with 16-MP optically stabilized and 20-MP image sensors. The smartphone gets a 16-MP selfie camera and runs OxygenOS based on Android Oreo. It comes with 3,300 mAh battery.

The handset will arrive with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM but there are no other storage variations for this color option. It starts at the same price Rs 39,999 — the same as the Midnight Black and Mirror Black models with 128 GB storage and 8GB RAM — and is identical to those versions in all but the design. The OnePlus 6 Silk White will also go on sale the same day as OnePlus’ new Bullets Wireless headphones, which will cost Rs 3,990. They’re said to offer five hours of playback on a ten-minute charge.

The company has announced a number of launch offers for Silk White variant buyers. One can opt for Rs 2,000 cashback while using Citibank Credit or Debit cards for purchasing the version. OnePlus has also tied up with “all major banks” to offer No Cost EMI for up to three months. Buyers will also be eligible for a 12-month accidental damage insurance from Servify on downloading the Kotak 811 app. Buyers will get Rs 250 discount for Amazon Prime Video users, and up to Rs 500 discount on Amazon Kindle e-books. Idea Cellular users will also get up to Rs 2,000 as cashback and device insurance for the new device while ClearTrip will offer them benefits up to Rs 25,000.
