Nokia X6 Fully Sold Out in 10 Sec in first flash sale in China

As we had posted earlier HMD Global was launched the Nokia X6 in China, last week. The phone has been up for sale through JD.com, Suning.com, and Tmall.com in China. The first sale witnessed the entire stock selling out within 10 seconds of sale’s commencement. The next sale for the phone is slated on May 30, 2018. The Nokia X6 was launched last week in China with iPhone X style notched display and Snapdragon 636 SoC.

Like many other smartphones recently launched example Vivo V9, Oppo F7, OnePlus 6, Nokia X6 also features a notch on the front panel. The Nokia X6 also sports dual camera setup at the rear geared AI and HDR technologies. According to reports, the Nokia X6 witnessed buyer registrations of almost 700,000, which resulted in the phone going out of stock in the first sale. The second upcoming sale is slated for May 30, 2018.

Nokia X6: Specifications, Features, Price

The Nokia X6 comes with a 5.8-inch full-HD+ display with 1080×2280 pixels resolution and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset clubbed with 4GB/6GB RAM. There is 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Concerning optics, the Nokia X6 sports 16MP+5MP dual camera setup at the rear with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels. It settles for a 16MP camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixel. The camera setup is also geared with a slew of AI-assisted features for enhanced photography such as optimised colour contrast, depth of field and portrait lighting effects, and HDR support. It also supports Face Unlock feature, which works with the front camera to map user’s face to unlock the device. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back.

In terms of software, the Nokia X6 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box and is guaranteed to receive regular security updates as well as Android P update.

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the Nokia X6 include a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and gyroscope. A 3600mAh battery backs the device, which is bundled with an 18W charger for enabling Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging that can deliver up to 50 percent of charge in 30 minutes. The Nokia X6 measures 147.2×70.98×7.99mm, and weighs 151 grams.

As for pricing, the Nokia X6 is priced at CNY 1,299 (approx. Rs. 13,786) for the 4GB RAM+32GB storage variant, CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 15,899) for the 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant, and CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 6GB RAM+64GB storage model. There is no information regarding the phone’s launch in India, but is likely to go official in India soon.
