HONOR India launches its first pop-up camera smartphone – HONOR 9X along with HONOR MagicWatch 2 and HONOR Band 5i

HONOR 9X: #UpForExtra
The HONOR 9X features a versatile 48MP AI Triple Camera setup with f/1.8 aperture and ½-inch sensor to boost image resolution and quality, prioritizing functionality to help users capture every precious moment. The 8MP Super Wide Angle Camera (120 degree) on the device will help users capture a broad and extensive view, while the 2MP depth-assist lens will enable the depth of field recognition technology to create multi-dimensional photos. The Super Slow Motion mode facilitates to shoot videos at 480fps with up to 16x slow motion. To handle the limitations of night photography, HONOR 9X is loaded with an intelligent all-in-one solution, offering AIS Super Night Mode, 4-in-1 light fusion technology and AI Stabilization.
The AI feature in HONOR 9X uses specific algorigthms to produce ultra clear and more vivid yet realistic images. It can recognize 22 different categories in 500 different scenarios. Other AI features include AI handheld detection, AI light detection, AI processing for utmost clarity and AI video stabilization, for the consumers to shoot like professionals.
With 9X launch, HONOR has also introduced its first smartphone having a 16MP AI pop-up front camera to capture stunning selfies equipped with 3D portrait lighting. Armed with AI Video Stabilization features, the device enhances the traditional concept of Electronic Image Stabilization to remove unwanted hand-shakes and restore video quality. Further, HONOR 9X comes with 16.7 cms (6.59-in) HONOR Full View Display. For the consumers to enjoy its maximum potential, HONOR has packed the product with Dynamic Range Enhancer, a video enhancement technology normally limited to premium smartphones. Designed with a unique TÜV Rheinland-certified Blue Light Filter, the HONOR 9X effectively minimizes the harmful blue light radiation emitted to prevent eye fatigue. The back of the device features a unique X-shaped texture, which gives an elegant appeal to its design.
Keeping in mind the gaming enthusiasts, HONOR 9X maximizes in delivering a seamless experience with the recently announced UFS 2.1 Storage & EROFS File System, improving the random read speed by 20% while memory space is expanded by 14%. Equipped with the GPU Turbo 3.0 technology to boost the device’s gaming capabilities, it supports 25 global games including PUBG, ASPHALT 9, NBA 2K19, Mobile Legends, Fortnite, FIFA Mobile and Modern Combat 5.

The HONOR MagicWatch 2 is made of 316L stainless steel – a material used in aerospace industry commonly, to offer high strength to weight ratio and less susceptibility to nicks and scratches from everyday activities. The 46mm variant of smartwatch comes with always-on 3.53 cms (1.39-in) HD AMOLED display with 454 x 454 resolution at 326 PPI. To add to the style statement, consumers will get the option to put personalized watch faces among other watch faces available on Watch Face Store. Users can save multiple photos on the watch and can also choose to have different display on the watch every time they turn their wrist.

The HONOR MagicWatch 2 (46mm) allows you to make or take calls on the go with the help of built-in speaker and mic even when you are up to 150m away from your phone. HONOR Band 5i: #MoreFitMoreLit
HONOR Band 5i brings 2.4 cms (0.96-in) Full Touch Colour display with 160×80 HD resolution to HONOR’s most popular band series. Users can download their favourite from the fresh, trendy and switchable clock faces available on HONOR Watch Face Store. Doing away the dedicated charging cradle, the stylish HONOR Band 5i features hassle-free USB charging slot concealed by removable wrist strap. Huawei TruSeen 3.0 technology takes the 24×7 heart rate tracking to another level.
HONOR Band 5i helps maximize and maintain your workout intensity using AI-driven algorithms for high-precision readings. The infrared technology in Huawei TruSeen 3.0 offers continuous heart-rate monitoring for the users to stay in the fitness zone longer. Huawei TruSleep technology used in the product, analyses sleep quality in real-time, identifies everyday sleep habits and provide over 200 personalized assessment and suggestions for better sleep.
Additionally, HONOR Band 5i is expected to get the SpO2 monitor soon through OTA update that will track oxygen saturation levels in the bloodstream so that you can assess how your body is adapting during workouts or at high altitudes. The 5ATM water resistant band (upto 50 metres) recognizes 9 different fitness modes including outdoor and indoor running, walking or cycling, rowing, elliptical and free training. It tracks and displays data such as heart rate, workout time, distance, stride frequency, speed, calories, aerobic/ anaerobic results for a more in depth workout plan.
Other smart assistant features of the band includes music control, remote camera control, find your phone, incoming call notifications, message and activity reminder and stopwatch. HONOR also introduced wireless design sports earphones in two editions – HONOR Sport and HONOR Sport Pro Bluetooth Earphones. Price and Availability
HONOR 9X will be available in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black colour variants, featuring 6GB and 4GB RAM along with 128GB ROM. The product will sold on Flipkart, starting 19th January, 2020 00:00 hours onwards and will be available at INR 13,999 for the 4GB variant and INR 16,999 for the 6GB variant.
HONOR MagicWatch 2 (46mm), sold on Amazon, will be available at INR 12,999 for the Charcoal Black variant and INR 14,999 for the Flax Brown variant. HONOR Band5i, available in Black colour, will be sold on Amazon at INR 1,999. Both the products will start selling from 12:00 PM onwards on
18th January, 2020 for the Amazon Prime members and 19th January, 2020 onwards for all the consumers. HONOR MagicWatch 2 (42mm) will come at a price of INR 11,999 for the Agate Black variant and INR 14,999 for the Sakura Gold variant.
The HONOR Sport Pro and HONOR Sport Bluetooth Earphones will be available soon in India at INR 3,999 and INR 1,999, respectively.

Further, the consumers will also get a Jio recharge voucher of worth INR 2,200 that can be redeemed in INR 50 per recharge for 44 recharges and 125GB of additional data, redeemable as 5GB per recharge for 25 recharges.
