Jaina Group gets into an alliance with Japanese Consumer Electronics Giants- Sansui and Nakamichi

  • Will bring in diverse product portfolio across consumer durables and electronics segment
  • Foresees pan India reach with series of India Specific products in the coming months

Jaina Group, the Delhi based business conglomerate with interests in telecom and consumer durables has got into an alliance with the Japanese consumer electronics giants – Sansui and Nakamichi. With this venture, the Group will now expand the pan India presence of the niche consumer durable and home appliance brands through its extensive distribution channel. This will include a diverse product portfolio including Smart LED televisions, home audio systems, refrigerators, washing machines, split air-conditioners and small kitchen appliances. The products will also be available across leading online retail/e-commerce outlets.

Jaina Group was incepted in 1995 as a distribution house and in short span, it represented esteemed global brands in the country including HTC, Motorola, Samsung, Siemens, Panasonic and Philips (LCD devices). In its endeavour to stay competitive and efficient, the group today, has transformed into a complete automated end to end business solutions provider and lay down a diverse roadmap in the consumer electronics market in the country

It is one of the world leaders with a firmly entrenched brand awareness and distribution in the value for money consumer segment. Sansui had a turnover of INR1627 crores in 2016 and with its re-entrance in the Indian market, the products are going to be customised keeping premium consumers in mind.

Nakamichi was founded in 1948 and has since established itself as a trusted creator of high-quality audio products that deliver sound, style and, substance. It delivers some of the world’s best high-quality audio products in the premium segment, to people who appreciate sound at its highest quality. The product line-up has already been there online, the objective now will be to look into an extensive presence through both offline and online availability. The Nakamichi product line is driven by an intense scientific curiosity, the love of music, and commitment to uncompromising quality and performance.

Jaina Group is looking forward to a series of product launches in the coming months for both the brands that will be in line with the diverse consumer taste and will also foray into IoT products in the near future. Today, the consumers’ buying pattern being far different from what it used to be 10 – 15 years back, the conglomerate will clinically look into a mix of both offline and online presence to reach out to the consumers.
