Vivo V9 to Launch in India on March 23

The notch on top of the front display screen first seen on the iPhone X appears to have become the norm and many other models have adopted it. The similar feature is the next flagship from Vivo, is going to an Amazon exclusive is set to launch on March 23. The phone is already appearing on Amazon’s site and is open for pre booking by the buyers.
The Vivo V9 is going to have a large 6.3-inch edge to edge, full HD+ display and it will have an aspect ratio of 19:9 and as mentioned, the notch to accommodate the selfie camera. Partnered with Snapdragon 626 octa-core SoC. The phone will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Android Oreo, version 8.0 will be the processor and Vivo’s FunTouch OS 4.0 will be the UI skin on top.
There is some similarity in the camera setup style between the Vivo V9 and the iPhone X as well. Vertically stacked in the rear are the dual 12MP+5MP cameras and the front selfie camera is a much larger 24MP, in line with Vivo’s positioning its phones as selfie specialist smartphones. Coming to the battery backup it comes with a 3260mAh battery. There is also a mention of an AI camera giving a hint that the user can expect AI to play a key role in the technology behind the operation of the cameras as well.
The expected price of the Vivo V9 is Rs 24,999 and Amazon may include some offers to signify the launch of the device.
Also,Vivo has also appointed a new brand ambassador for the Indian market, with actor Aamir Khan replacing Ranveer Singh, another actor.
