RAEGR is one of the well-listed brands on Amazon India for their super cool mobile accessories. They have huge variety of products which include Wireless Chargers, Bluetooth Audio, Screen protectors, and the list goes on. Today, we will be covering one such Audio product from RAEGR that is Airshots 500 TWS Earbuds.

Design

From the top of the case, it looks like other wireless buds available so far in the industry. But from the inside, it is a complete redesign. It more or less feels like a gaming setup with that LED display. The case is very much compact and not at all look bulky in hand. Inside the case, there is a separate display on top for battery which is definitely a unique concept. Also, the case has an option to work as a mobile holder, you can place your phone on it. Even in trains or metros while traveling to your office you can keep your mobile on the case and can enjoy entertainment on the go! The charging box is thin which allows you to keep this in your pockets and you will not find any discomfort.

The Earbuds on the other hand feels light and fits in ear easily. We think no further big improvements are required. With Ipx7 waterproof shell and interior, nano-coating technology protects the sports earphones effectively from rain or sweat during workouts.

Features & Performance

This TWS earbud comes with Bluetooth 5. 0 chip which provides ultra-stable connection, faster pairing, and universal compatibility with all iOS, Windows and Andriod devices. Setup is quite simple and does not require any kind of app installations. With Bluetooth 5.0, the wireless technology is capable of 4x the range, going from 200 feet (60 meters) to 800 feet (240 meters). We did not notice any kind of frequent disconnections or music playback problems. While playing PUBG we did found a delay in output this is the case with every wireless earbud as there is some small signal latency. But still, the output was not too much delayed it was very small (in milliseconds) which can just be ignored.  It also provides a perfect thumping bass without overpowering the highs and mids

It has a one-step auto-pairing technology where the left and right earbuds will pair with each other. Call quality is very much good and even the microphones work perfectly fine. These are noise cancellation earbuds that cut other background sounds so you can concentrate on music or game. While driving, you can attend or decline your calls directly from your earbuds once paired. With Google Assistant/ Apple’s Siri support one can do many basic tasks like placing a call, setting up reminders, and even more. You can adjust your music volume, change music, accept calls with the multi-touch feature.

Battery

The charging case includes a massive 1500mAh battery which is just enough for an audio product. Earbuds on a single charge can go up to 6 hours of entertainment. Once you charge that case it shall last you for at least 2 days (48 hours) on Bluetooth or in other words charging case which can recharge the true wireless earbuds up to 12 times.  The best part is that it supports 1-hour fast charging (as mentioned on box). Battery display can also be found inside the case which can remind you for recharge and that is much accurate than the battery display (for connected Bluetooth devices) we find on our mobile phone.

Verdict

Undoubtedly, the RAEGR team has done incredible work on their product. In every department, the product has a balanced approach. In our tests, the product worked very well ahead of other TWS earbuds. The product is available on Amazon.in for Rs. 2,399 which is a justifiable price for a product like this. In case you are planning to one TWS, you must include this in your list.
