With so many options and brands to choose from, it becomes difficult for a customer to decide which one is suitable for him/her. There are many recent start-ups or new entrants in this segment. We have reviewed ELAP TouchPods Touch Control True Wireless Earbuds (TWS) in our daily life routine to check whether it makes a good buy. The device was sent by a new start-up manufacturer from their facility in Mumbai, Maharashtra. During our tests, we checked the performance in different types of scenarios.

Design

Many brands are simply copying the same type of design. We are really happy to see that brand is not inspired by any kind of trend and making its product unique. Product dimensions are 10.4 x 9.2 x 3.8 cm and weigh 141g which makes this a portable device. It has IPx5 sweatproof certification which makes it an ideal purchase for joggers.

Features & performance

On the Wireless case, there are four LED dots to show the remaining battery. The charging case is made up of plastic which feels just okay in hand. On top of the case, there is ELAP branding which looks great. Below the LED battery display there is a charging port. Unfortunately, there is no fast charging support. Earbuds look elegant and fit in the ear comfortably. Even if you are going to use these in your morning walk this is appropriate and does not drop out easily from your ear. On the Earbuds both left and right sides, there are minimal looking circular shape LEDs.Well located and accessible touch functionalities. Well overall we find the design to be interesting there can some small improvements as far as plastic quality is concerned. Even at this price, product quality is fully justified.

Mostly all products lack some kind of features but ELAP earbuds have excelled well in this context. While driving, you can attend or decline your calls directly from your earbuds once paired. With Google Assistant/ Apple’s Siri support one can do many basic tasks like placing a call, setting up reminders, and even more. You can adjust your music volume, change music, accept calls with the multi-touch feature. This Wireless Earbud supports Bluetooth 5.0.

We did not notice any kind of frequent disconnections or music playback problems. While playing PUBG we did found a delay in output but it was very small and can be ignored. The product is easily found on Amazon.in.

A must buy for the quality-conscious users and quite affordable in the given price band under 3K. The product includes a 12 months warranty from the date of purchase. Pairing and setup were very easy it does not require any app installations. If you are looking to get TWS for yourself then you must consider this option.
