ZTE India Powering Fastway’s next generation IPTV and FTTH network

ZTE announced its collaboration with Fastway Transmissions, a leading MSO in North India, to
rollout ZTE’s award winning IPTV solution for its consumers.
Fastway Transmissions is one of the largest MSO in the country with its Internet arm Netplus
Broadband available in 163 cities across North India where the service provider is offering FTTH
services.
Fastway Transmissions and its broadband arm Netplus is already offering internet services to its
consumers in addition to cable TV services. With advent of High Speed Internet a reality, IPTV is
a true convergence of internet and television. Thus enabling consumers to enjoy host of
advanced services like 7 day catch –up TV, Video on Demand, play-pause-rewind, High Speed
Gaming, as other millions of IPTV consumers across the globe are already enjoying.
Speaking on the occasion
Mr. Yan Xiao, CEO Designate ZTE telecom India said, “ZTE focuses on leading innovations, which
will definitely empower Indian people in the future. In the development of the digital economy,
this new-generation network infrastructure will play an important role. ZTE applications are
accelerating the modernization of our entire society, promoting the penetration of information

era. ZTE is willing to work and cooperate with Fastway Transmissions together for home
entertainment services.”
ZTE is bringing its next generation XGPON platform for making true High Speed Internet Service
a reality in India enabling consumers enjoy host of advance services.
Fastway Transmissions Group CEO Mr Prem Ojha said that Notably, Netplus Broadband is not
going to be a standalone broadband internet service provider, Instead, The entire plan will
consist of FTTH broadband services, IPTV, OTT & Voice Services along with smart home
solutions.
All these services which Netplus will be offering to its users will be driven on FTTH Fiber & will
be available in states of North India only.
This alliance would facilitate network upgrade for offering speeds up to 1Gbps in the
broadband segment alongside providing IPTV & many smart home solutions to the users.
