Xiaomi Mi 8 Launched globally, Everything here

The Xiaomi latest flagship smartphone has been launched on Thursday ( 31st May 2018 ) in the launch event that was held in China.Coming onto its specifications, It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It also packs an infrared face unlock unlike OnePlus 6, There is a 3400mAh battery backup in this device. The Mi 8 smartphone sports dual rear 12-megapixel camera setup and a selfie camera of 20-megapixel for perfect selfies.

Xiaomi also claims that they have used Artificial Intelligence for portraits and scene detection. The Xiaomi Mi 8 sports an Adreno 630 GPU which is quite good to run heavy graphics games.

This device will easily run apps like PUBG Mobile, Asphalt, Nova, Aptoide, Real Cricket.

Well, a new Edition “Explorer edition” has also been launched on the event, which has some amazing flagship features like in display fingerprint sensor which is pretty amazing, 3D face recognition, and also a transparent back.

 

The Xiaomi MI 8 runs on the MIUI 10. It has a dual Nano SIM setup. The flagship device has 85.5 percent screen to body ratio which is same as the OnePlus 6.It sports the AMOLED display of Samsung with 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The device is having a 6.21 inch Full HD display. The MI 8 device comes with Quick Charge 4.0+ support and has a 18W quick charge 3.0 charger which is amazing.

 

Xiaomi has claimed that it has 301,772 AnTuTu benchmark score which is surprising. The device comes with 6GB/8GB RAM variants. with 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage.Coming onto the connectivity options the Xiaomi Mi 8 sports the Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE support. Dual-band GPS which also has L1/L5 signal support which made this device first smartphone to use this feature, USB Type-C.

This device has packs all the basic sensors like: gyroscope, infrared, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and a barometer. The screen of the device is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass. This device will probably be available in four colors: Black, White, Gold and Blue.
