HUAWEI Y9 2019 features the new generation 6.5″ Notched HUAWEI FullView Display, offering a higher screen to body ratio. Y9 2019 features a 16.70 million color IPS LCD, with the contrast ratio of 1500:1, 2340*1080 resolution and 397 PPI, the display stands out with the 3D curved design, bringing users both wider view and ultimate control. It also supports Eye Comfort Mode which reduces harmful blue light and digital strain, certified by TÜV Rheinland. It can dim the screen brightness to 3nit; reduce harmful blue light and digital strain. Users reading e-book under Eye Comfort Mode suffer less eyestrain with suitable colour temperature configuration and contrast restriction.

HUAWEI Y9 2019 is equipped with a 4000mAh big battery and the high-performance 12nm Kirin 710 chipset provides excellent power efficiency. HUAWEI Y9 2019 supports smart power consumption optimization for comprehensive energy-saving technology, with one-touch battery optimization and suspension to inactive programs to improve standby time to several days.

HUAWEI Y9 2019 features dual camera, both on the front and rear for hardware level Bokeh effect, and supports AI intelligent scenario identification and optimization. Together with smart features such as Gesture Control and unique filters, users can produce studio-quality pictures in seconds. It is equipped with the 16MP+2MP front dual camera and the 13MP+2MP rear dual camera. The front 16MP f/2.0 camera utilizes Pixel 4-in-1 intelligent algorithm to create beautiful selfies even in low-light or backlighting conditions. The rear camera works with the f/1.8 aperture that increases light source by 50% comparing to f/2.2, creating stunning and clear pictures even in low-light environment.
It integrates AI machine learning algorithm, which creates 21 different category labels, and helps to select the optimized background and adjusts all the parameters after analysing the scene (up to 500+ scenarios). HUAWEI Y9 2019 also features AI stabilization and Hand-held Night Mode to support up to 6 seconds long exposure, to capture all the details and adjust the brightness in the low-light environment. The device also comes with capabilities of AI 3D lighting to help create different effects such as soft lighting, stage lighting, butterfly lighting and split lighting. The PDAF fast-focusing technology further helps analyse the object and adjust the shutter speed, enables users to capture the most exciting and beautiful moments anytime with their devices.
