Asus ZenFone 5Z gets its first update with improvements in Camera, June security patch, power management, etc. The Asus Zenfone 5Z was unveiled last week. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC and comes equipped with a 6.2-inch full-HD+ LCD screen with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. There is a notch on top similar to Apple iPhone X which houses the earpiece, front-facing camera and other sensors. As for Camera, it has got a dual rear camera with a f/1.8 12MP sensor and a f/2.2 8MP lens. On the front is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens and 84-degree field of view. The device is backed by a 3300 mAh battery, runs on Android 8.0, features Face Unlock and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
The latest update with software version 220.127.116.11 is currently available over the air. The Asus ZenFone 5Z comes with the Android security patch for June 5, 2018. The changes in the latest update include improvements in notification LED, Camera, NFC, and secure album. Asus has also fixed the occasional screen flicker problem that would arise after starting or stopping a video recording. It has also enhanced the focus speed during video recording as well as the quality of video calls. Also other changes include an improvement in the stability of the operating system and enhanced power management.
