Amazon launches Prime Reading in India
Amazon has launched Prime Reading, exclusively for Prime members in India. Prime members can now enjoy unlimited reading from a rotating selection of best-selling eBooks at no additional cost. Prime Reading joins the growing list of offerings for Prime members including unlimited free & fast delivery, unlimited Indian & international video content, unlimited ad-free music in several languages, exclusive and early access to deals, and much more.
“Prime Reading builds the habit of reading. Prime members can now read their favourite titles at no additional cost by conveniently downloading and reading eBooks within minutes. They can discover and read new and bestselling titles from a variety of authors at no additional cost. eBooks under Prime Reading include all genres like Literature & Fiction, Travel, and Romance,” said Rajiv Mehta, Country Manager, Kindle India.

Prime Reading provides access to hundreds of eligible, popular eBooks including bestsellers like Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and One Indian Girl. It will include eBooks from literature and fiction, comics, non-fiction and in Indian languages including Hindi and Tamil.
