Bharti Airtel has launched a new long terms validity recharge plan for users with high calling usage. The new plan costs Rs 597 and comes with a validity period of 168 days which is more than five months. The plan is available for Airtel prepaid users but only in select ones.
The new Airtel Rs 597 recharge plan comes bundled with data benefits also but the plan mainly focuses on users looking for call-centric plans. The company offers unlimited voice calling benefits with no FUP restrictions. This means you can make unlimited calls on any number across India and talk for unlimited minutes. There are also no restrictions on the network or the national roaming. Usually, plans with unlimited calling come with a daily or weekly capping. This is to avoid the exploitation of the plan by users.
The Rs 597 plan comes bundled with 10GB data and SMS benefits. You get 100 SMS per day which equals to 16,800 SMSes in total. The 10GB data is for the entire 168 days which is very low compared to other existing plans but the plan focuses on calling benefit mainly. This is not the only call-centric plan from Airtel. The company also has another Rs 995 plan under which it offers unlimited calling, 100 free SMS per day and only 1GB data per month for 180 days(6 months).
