Chinese Smartphone maker Oppo has seen a good growth in the Indian smartphone market it is now the fourth largest brand in India. Just like Huawei’s sub-brand Honor, Oppo is also set to launch its online-only sub-brand called Realme in India. The first smartphone, Realme 1, will be launched today at an event in Delhi, and the smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon India.

The phone shall be available exclusively via Amazon India, comes with a unique “diamond black” rear cover. The Amazon listing also claims the Realme 1 will have an “AI processor,” complete with AI-powered photos and battery management. It comes with 6GB of RAM, a Helio P60 chipset, Android 8.1, a 6-inch 18:9 1080p display, and a 3,410mAh battery, among other features.

Based on leaks that we have come across, the smartphone is said to feature a 6-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and support 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, a MediaTek Helio P60 SoC is expected, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Realme 1 will be a dual-SIM capable smartphone with hybrid SIM slot that also supports expandable storage via SD card slot. As for camera, the Realme 1 is said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with support for AI-based depth effect. As for selfie, an 8-megapixel front camera along with portrait mode.
