Today, on the occasion of International Dog’s Day, we would like to share a story with you, a Mumbai based young girl who left her job just because she loves her dog so much and wanted to spend more time with him. Aarushi Madhani, who has completed her Masters in International Business from Hult International Business School at London followed by New York. After completing her Masters, she came back to Mumbai and started work with a London based online fashion brand called Erdferkel & Wobbegong for one year where she looked after the manufacturing of the garments along with the distribution via different channels. Once Brooklyn (her dog) walked into her life, she left her job to focus on something she was more passionate about and where she could spend more time with her puppy, she started Brooklyn’s Boutique.

According to her, “Being a pet parent who’s obsessed with her dog, when I saw a few images online of people twinning with their kids and family, I knew right then that I had to make matching clothes for my dog and me. You’ve probably never seen a human and a dog matching their outfits that’s because there are no options out there to do so. Much the attention seeker, my dog Brooklyn has received a lot of admiration for his style and outfits because I love to try on new things on him and every time we’re matching our outfits, we’re sure to make heads turn wherever we go”.

The “tail” of her venture began when she realized that most of the clothing option for her furry friend were intolerable, uneasy and out of style.
